Reflection is about the conflict within yourself when choosing between good and evil. Between only caring about yourself or doing what right and helping others. This comes from past experiences in life where people have told us “you're too nice” or “you’re such a goody two shoes”. We constantly live life being told that we have to harden up, and care about yourself and this often causes us to become versions of ourselves that we hardly recognize, and things just don’t feel right. However in the end, at least in my own experience the good part always wins out and staying true to yourself will always be the better choice. In the song we use an actual battle to depict this inner struggle.

through every corner of the glass

the shattered pieces carrying my face

as my reflection fades away

falling further into the abyss
just a veil of blank nothingness
