Looking deeper at myself
through every corner of the glass
and it breaks,
the shattered pieces carrying my face
no escape
as my reflection fades away
falling further into the abyss
just a veil of blank nothingness
the bottom draws closer,
in this endless pit
the darkness calls me
am I guilty
There’s a war inside of me
that’s tearing me apart
the one side is my conscience
the other is a reflection of my heart
I’m breaking down
my insanity grows quicker
i’m trying to look for light
but this dark cloud is thicker
tears are streaming down my face
the skies grow dark and the earth starts to shake
in front of the mirror I stay
but my reflection is fading away
they run
All towards each other
swords swinging harder
i just can’t find myself
There’s a war, inside of me

The mist floats in
the ship’s silhouette appears
they all know what’s coming
as the black sails bring fear
they load their weapons
the captain comes on deck
the flesh barely hanging from his bones
on this ship of lost souls
see them coming
the sound of screams they fill the skies
run for your life
the skull flag out the fires light
the moon it shines on
the bones of those cursed by night
hear their agony
while the fires of hell burn in their eyes
then the clouds cover the moon
the ship vanishes gone so soon
but just when you think that you’re safe
all hope is lost
when our paths are crossed
under the blood moon
your end is near
your heart filled with fear
taken so soon
sometimes I still remember
when I could still feel
the spray of the ocean
and the winds while skies were clear
and I was just a man
nothing less and nothing more
and death was not waiting for me
at every door
and all that I had ever dreamt to be
was a soul who could be free
was a shoul who could be free
the moon was just another beauty
at which I could marvel
and mist was only there
when daylight hit water
and I was still alive
but greed was our demise

Everytime I look across
the sea of faces
see into your souls
your deepest darkest places
the feeling overwhelms me
takes me miles into the air
it engulfs me
makes me forget all despair
when the flashing lights shine into my eyes
northern lights drifting through the skies
the screams so loud it makes the heavens fall
my mind is so clear that I can see it all
the waves are crashing down below
the lighters high like stars they glow
your feet they move to the sound
a steady pace we shake the ground
you look on we stand tall
make the sound fall over all
rage rage we make our stand
raise your voice and raise your hands
overcome your wake of fears
open your eyes lend me your ears
my words they make my feelings clear
everytime that we are here
break the boundaries of this earth
let them know what we are worth

entire cities laid to waste

and human souls flood through the gates
